Around here, we don’t dread the end of summer. We start counting down to snow.

Back to Snow is back for year six—and we’re ready for winter.

Come and join Town Hall Outdoor Co, Mountain Tap Brewery, OHANA and Yampatika for the 6th Annual Back to Snow Garage Sale, our annual Steamboat celebration of kids, community, winter and the places we love to play.

Bring on the cold mornings. Bring on the first flakes. El Niño, if you’re listening…we’re ready!

Come shop deep discounts on Town Hall gear, get a first look at our Winter 2026 ski jackets and snow pants , bring the kids, grab a free Routt Beer float, listen to live music, and settle in for an OHANA live screening.

And while we celebrate the winter ahead, we’ll also be supporting Yampatika and the work they do connecting people with the outdoors in the Yampa Valley. $10 from every screened OHANA shirt and 10% of Town Hall sales will go to Yampatika.

What’s Happening

Town Hall Winter ’26 Launch Party

Winter is coming, kids are growing, and somehow the jacket that fit in March is already looking a little questionable.

Come see Town Hall’s Winter ’26 Gear Lineup: kids winter jackets, ski pants and snow bibs, new merino base layers—and our new XXS outerwear for little kids.

The Back to Snow Garage Sale

This is where things get interesting.

Shop deep discounts on Town Hall gear (50% off last year's gear, anyone?), including hand-me-up deals and other good stuff ready for its next kid, next winter, and next adventure.

Sizes and quantities will be limited, so if you’re hunting for something specific, come early.

OHANA Live Screening

Get properly excited for winter with an OHANA live screening during Back to Snow. Emily at OHANA has created a beautiful Town Hall design that they will be live screening and supporting Yampatika.

Consider it our official invitation to start thinking about powder days, chairlift laps, sledding hills and everything else we’ve been missing since spring.

Free Routt Beer Floats

Yes, free.

Grab a Routt Beer float, hang out at Mountain Tap and celebrate the start of another Steamboat winter with us.

Kids Activities

Bring the whole crew.

Back to Snow is made for families, with kids activities alongside the gear sale, music and winter fun.

Live Music

Because every proper winter kickoff needs a soundtrack.

Come for the gear deals, stay for the music, friends and the annual ritual of everyone in Steamboat asking the same question:

When is it going to snow?

Supporting Yampatika

Back to Snow is also a winter welcome benefiting Yampatika.

That matters to us. Town Hall was built in Steamboat, and protecting access to the outdoors and helping more kids and families build a lifelong connection to the places we share is a big part of why we exist.

Six Years of Calling Winter Back to Steamboat

Back to Snow has become one of our favorite Town Hall traditions.

It marks that point every fall when the mornings get colder, the mountains start looking different, skis start appearing in garages and everyone begins checking the forecast just a little more often.

It’s part garage sale.
Part winter kickoff.
Part Town Hall gear launch.
Part community gathering.

And very intentionally, a whole lot of fun for kids.

Come find some gear, see what’s new, support Yampatika, hang out with the Steamboat community, and help us officially welcome winter back.

Bring on the snow.
